If there are no refills left on your medication, call the appointment line. Walk-in refills are available. Prescription fill time will vary. For tobacco cessation, come to the pharmacy to speak to a pharmacist during our walk-in clinic hours. The pharmacist will help determine if you are ready to quit and create a treatment plan for you. For Cough and Cold Clinic, if you are experiencing cough or cold symptoms, you can go to the pharmacy window to be assessed for the proper medication. Once at the window, you will fill out a form and speak to one of the pharmacists directly. Through the pharmacist’s consult with you, he or she will determine the best medications to prescribe. This clinic is open to everyone who meets the eligibility requirements and does not have any of the listed exclusions. For eligibility, the patient must be DEERS eligible to receive care and TRUCARE-enrolled in the Misawa MTF. The patent must also be six years of age and older. The following are exclusions: symptoms lasting longer than 10 days; temperature of 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit or higher; history of heart disease, asthma or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, also known as COPD; currently pregnant; on flying status or Personnel Reliability Assurance Program, or PRAP; and immune deficiency.
