Walk-In Contraceptive Services

Get all your contraceptive care in one place: the 35th Medical Group’s Walk-in Contraceptive Services clinic!

All beneficiaries, regardless of gender identity, are eligible for care and counseling at walk-in contraceptive clinics and can receive education on safe sexual practices, contraceptives, and sexually transmitted infection (STI) prevention and treatment.

Services are available every Wednesday, 7:45 – 10:30 a.m., at the OB/GYN Clinic.

Services Offered

We offer the following products and services:
  • General contraceptive counseling
  • Same-day initiation of all forms of birth control, including IUDs, Nexplanon, Patches, Vaginal Rings, Depo-Provera injections, and birth control pills
  • String checks for IUDs placed in the clinic
  • Condoms
  • Spermicides
  • Female sterilization preoperative evaluations
  • Vasectomy referrals

How it Works

No appointment is necessary! Simply check in at the OB/GYN clinic front desk during walk-in hours. During your visit, you can receive same-day counseling from a certified provider and initiate birth control, including IUD and Nexplanon insertion.

If starting an IUD or Nexplanon, you must be abstinent for two weeks before insertion. Same-day pregnancy screening will be performed at the Military Treatment Facility laboratory.
