Pharmacy
If there are no refills left on your medication, please call the appointment line. Walk-in refills are available but prescription wait times will vary.
For tobacco cessation, come speak to a pharmacist during our walk-in clinic hours. The pharmacist will help determine if you are ready to quit and create a treatment plan for you.
The pharmacist may also provide emergency contraception as needed. The patient who will be taking the medication will need to present a valid ID. It is important to note that emergency contraception should not be the go-to first line for preventing pregnancy. Please consult with your OB provider to be placed on a long-term form of birth control.
For cough, cold, and allergy medications, you can go to the pharmacy window to be assessed. Once at the window, you will fill out a form and the pharmacist will help to determine the best medications for your condition.
In general, eligible patients must be enrolled in the Misawa MTF and authorized to receive care. The patient must also be six years of age and older for pharmacy walk-in services.
If you are on flying status or Personnel Reliability Assurance Program (PRAP), you are excluded from this program as follow-up is required from your assigned provider prior to receiving care. You may also be excluded on a case-by-case basis due to individual medical risk factors and referred for follow-up care from a provider if deemed necessary.
Outside of clinic hours, please utilize the UCC for urgent needs.

TRICARE Formulary Search Tool
Use the TRICARE Formulary Search Tool to look-up your drug. A search can tell you:
- Formulary status (generic drug, brand-name drug, non-formulary drug, non-covered drug)
- Where the prescription can be filled
- Copayments and limitations, such as prior authorization
- Coverage review requirements and forms
- Alternative medications, including costs
To start your search, you’ll need to put in the brand name or generic name of the drug and then select the strength prescribed, as well as your gender and age.
