Health Services

Radiology

We offer X-ray, fluoroscopy, computed tomography also known as CT, ultrasound, and mammography. A referral from your primary care manager is needed for these services except routine mammography. For breast cancer screening: The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, or CDC, recommends breast cancer screening for women every two years starting at age 40. A mammogram is the gold standard for breast cancer screening. TRICARE Prime enrollees 40 years and older can call the Radiology Department directly to schedule an appointment without a primary care manager order or referral. Patients who are experiencing breast abnormalities or have a significant family history of breast cancer need to see their primary care manager first for a mammogram referral to determine if other or more specific tests are needed.
