The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EST on September 30, 2025. Military personnel will continue in a normal duty status without pay until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted activities will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status.
Our military hospital remains open and we’re continuing to provide healthcare services. Scheduled appointments and procedures are proceeding as planned, and new appointments continue to be booked. Family Member Relocation Clearance

All active duty personnel with accompanied dependents need to obtain family member travel screens to obtain orders. A briefing at the Smooth Move program is required for outbound members every first Tuesday of the month at 8 a.m. and every third Tuesday of the month at 3 p.m. at the Airmen and Family Readiness Center.  Please contact AFRC to register for the briefing at 226-4735 or 0176-77-4735. Single or unaccompanied Airmen, please e-mail usaf.misawa.35-mdg.mbx.efmp.m.@mail.mil with “No Dependents” on the subject line for virtual out-processing check-off.
